My family and I are thinking about taking a cruise?

Can you answer Maggie’s question about Cruises?:

First question: Which would you suggest? A cruise by Greek isles or Alaska?
And where exactly do you suggest to look for these types of cruises? Where do you find them?

If you can list some reliable websites that I can buy them from and compare prices, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Cruises Feedback: has a good search engine.

Notable…there is a limited window in which you can take the Alaskan cruise so if you are limited on your dates, Alaska may be out.

Cruises Feedback: I have cruised to Alaska over 20 times. Besides the first one I have always booked threw the cruise line. Try Princess.com or 1-800-Princess. Reason I book with the cruise line is they know their ships & destinations & also can handle any requests I may have. Never been to Greek Isles but, have heard they are nice. I prefer not to spend my vacation by looking at water ( I can look out my window & see a lake & river).
    Good Luck.

Cruises Feedback: Both the Greek isles or Alaska would be great. If you want to cruise to Alaska, I suggest you consider a cruise/tour. You start or end (Your choice) a cruise with touring inland first. Princess cruises even owns there own lodges for this kind of thing. No for a place to get info, first go to Princess.com for that or another cruise Company. Find the cruise you want, then go to “vacations to go” for some of the best deal around. I have booked threw them and also directly through Princess and with a regular travel agent. AAA is also a great source too.

Cruises Feedback: I never have been to either of them destinations, but I think that Alaska would be more enjoyable. Everybody I have talked to loves Alaskan cruises and says great things about them. The sites and pictures that I have seen there are just gorgeous. Alaska is definitely on my top list of places to travel too. Where I go to find all my cruise deals and get them for the cheapest prices is the link below.
Just sign up by putting your name and e-mail address and you can get many discounted prices. When your ready to book a cruise call the number on that site and they will assign you a travel agent for your cruise so he can walk you through the details and answer your questions. They are very helpful and kind. :) Depending on who you are sailing with (Carnival, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, etc.) you can go to their home website (just google the name and click on the first link, it should take you to their website) and compare vacationstogo’s prices or whatever other website you use and the cruise line you choose to go withs website. Another great cruise website is-
They have many reviews of a ship and their cruise lines, a roll call to see who will be attending that port of call and its date, pictures and other reliable sources you can use to make your decision making process go a little easier. Also if you want some information on Alaska and the Greek Isles, I would do your homework. Research different websites and get some basic information on your destination. Remeber once you book a cruise you can’t change it, or it will cost you loads of money. The only time they will make an exception is an emergency. So make sure you are 100% sure in your decision. Either way, I’m sure you will love cruises so much that you will be able to go BOTH of them places in the future instead of just one. Also, some helpful facts are:
    1. Make sue you bring some type of wristband for motion sickness or Dramamine.
    2. Book your shore excursion before you get on the cruise, they tend to book fairly quickly.
    3. Do some homework. It makes booking your cruise so much easier knowing all the information you need. It makes planning a breeze when you know what your doing.
    Good luck in your choice!
    Happy cruising!!! :)

Cruises Feedback: I would choose where you want to go first and then search with a travel agent to get the best prices to that destination.
