Can you answer nan6872’s question about Cruises?:

I want to take my husband on a cruise for his 40th birthday. I want to leave sometime in June. I know this is like super last minute, but I was planning a big surprise 40th birthday bash, and he told me last week he hoped I wasnt going to do that. YIKES! So I cancelled the big party, but still want his birthday to be really special and loves to cruise. I am looking for a source for a great deal.

Have you claimed your Genesis site?

Cruises Feedback: Believe it or not the best place to get a good deal on a cruise is by going to the cruise lines website. It will be the same or less than other travel sites, but you can be sure to book your transfer, airfare, and hotel if you need. Since you book with the cruise line you are protected if something goes wrong even without travel insurance. The airfare will be more expensive, however you can book you own airfare, and still book a transfer from the airport. If you need more help than you can find on the website just call customer care and they will answer any and all questions you have. All of this it true with any cruise line, you can even talk them into some freebies, or discount on some occasions if the ship isn’t full. Depending on how long you want to cruise I would suggest Royal Caribbean for a 3 or 4 night. Most cruise lines don’t have short Bahamas cruises other than carnival, and Royal Caribbean. I have been on both and would without a doubt suggest royal Caribbean. Hope this helped, and have a great time.

Of course this guy is going to try to get you to use a travel agent, guess what just like the car dealers he is talking about he gets a commission. Why pay someone else to do the work the cruise line will do for you free. Where you leave from isn’t that important either it all just depends on where you would like to go. Save your money and deal with the cruise lines direct.

Cruises Feedback: Dealing with the cruise lines directly is like going to a car manufacturer and asking for a volume discount.
We have over 95,000 travel agents and have gotten the Pinnacle award from Carnival two years in a row for volume in cruise bookings. We can get you a better rate than going direct.
Royal Caribbean is nice but depending on your budget you might try Carnival. Not to mention Carnival cruises more in the Caribbean than Royal. Make sure you leave from Miami for the best choice of cruises.

Cruises Feedback: I think you should try Yahoo travels.

Cruises Feedback: Try AAA or Expedia.com. I’ve never found better prices than these.
