Can you answer juliesoyvan’s question about Cruises?:
We’re planning for our big spring break, and this year we decided to venture on a cruise. However, we’re a little stumped on which cruise to go on. So far, we’ve looked at Royal Caribbean and Carnival. We would also like to travel to the Caribbeans or around the Mediterranean area. Anyone have suggestions?

Cruises Feedback: Carnival is the one I would choose. They usually cater to younger people than royal carribean. I would do a carribean or mexican cruise, mediteranean is pricey.
Cruises Feedback: freestyle
Cruises Feedback: First of all you are going to need to take your parents or some older escorts. Carnival requires at least one person be 25. Royal Caribbean and Norwegian requires someone to be 21.
If you are not taking your parents, then your escort will need written permission. This is true even if you are going with your best friend’s parents. You will need written permission for your best friend’s parents to take you. Here are some links with sample letters …
As to a cruise line, I would recommend Royal Caribbean, Carnival or Norwegian. All cater to younger people looking to have fun. For those that are under 18, I would recommend one of the following Royal Caribbean ships …
Navigator of the Seas
Mariner of the Seas
Freedom of the Seas
Liberty of the Seas
The Navigator is doing four and five night cruises out of Fort Lauderdale. The Mariner does one week cruises out of Port Canaveral (near where the Space Shuttle launches from). The Freedom & Liberty of the Seas both do one week cruises out of Miami.
The advantage of these four ships is that they have an expanded teen center (meaning it is bigger than the teen center on the other ships). There is the Living Room which is an area to just hang out, watch videos or play games and Fuel which is the teen disco.
If you are going with Carnival, make sure the ship has Club O2 (the teen club which is being added to all the ships).
I am not sure if Norwegian has a special name for its teen center.
Cruises Feedback: Any cruise that I am not on!!!
