Cruises Feedback: Almost all cruise lines have about the same options.
There is traditional dining. You are assigned to a table in a specific dining room at either early or late dining. You always have the same table mates and waiters for dinner.
There is what may be called anytime dining. With it you can dine anytime within certain hours. You are still in a large dining room with the same menu as traditional.
There is always a buffet that anyone can go to at any meal.
There are sometimes specialty dining rooms that charge a reservation fee. It may be a steakhouse or Italian restaurant for example.
When you make your cruise reservations you choose early or late traditional or anytime dining. Most people choose to eat at the buffet for breakfast and lunch. The dining rooms are all open seating for breakfast and lunch.

Cruises Feedback: Disney has three restaurants that you eat at - different one each night. The waiters and waitresses move with you. There are two shifts of dinner - 1 at 6 and 1 at 8. There is also an adults restaurant that you need to make reservations and pay for. But the three restaurants are great - good variety and small portions. But the wait staff will ask you if you want another portion. Speaking of wait staff, if you are going on the Disney Magic, please try to get the waiter Tony. From the islands, great accent, and an absolute charmer of kids.
